Volunteer
Zambia was created in 2006 by
Richard Sheppard,
a British national living in Zambia.
Richard has been involved with the organisation of
volunteer programs within Zambia for some 10 years
and his main company African Horizons provides
support services for dozens of out of country
operators. Richard has lived in Livingstone for 12
years. In 2006 Richard was awarded an
Honory Princeship
from the Royal Mukuni Establishment for services to
the community.

Co-ordinator: Natasha
Tilley:
Natasha was born and raised in Zambia. After
finishing her education (BA Hons in Media
Production) she lived in the UK for 10 years where
she was involved in numerous TV and film productions
both as an extra and video journalist. Natasha
returned to Zambia in 2005 and now co-ordinates
Volunteer Zambia's programs. Natasha speaks
Chinyanja the local dialect and has a superb rapport
with the Zambian people. Natasha lives in
Livingstone.

Munkombwe Nshome:
'Munks' is a Zambian National who has 10 years of
experiance within the volunteer and tourism sector
in the Livingstone Area. He is a well known
Livingstone resident having been a radio DJ for 2
years and he writes a regular column for the local
press.

Rebecca Whitefield:
Rebecca is a British national. She coordinates
Volunteers accommodation, food, travel and extra
curricular activities within Livingstone. She is a
qualified Ethologist and has been resident in
Livingstone for 4 years.
